The Arrowhead Lodge is geared towards families as many of our rooms have full kitchens. We are just around the corner from the ever-popular Playhouse (children's arcade, indoor roller rink and miniature golf) and our large outdoor deck overlooks the kid's fishing pond. In addition, the adjacent Pioneer Canyon is a popular scenic, four wheeling, hiking and mountain bike trail that offers the chance to explore the remains of Red River's colorful mining past.
Our great location at the trailhead allows you the convenience of parking your trailer on our property and starting your adventure up Pioneer Canyon from our parking lot.
During ski season, take advantage of our great location at the base of the Red River Ski Area; in less than two minutes from your front door, you are ready to ski! |

The town of Red River lies deep in the heart of the Sangre De Cristo Mountain range, surrounded by the Carson National Forest and in the shadow of Wheeler Peak, New Mexico's highest mountain. Hardy and rugged souls first came to this area seeking gold and silver in the 1870's, but the finds were never sufficient to strike it rich. |
