Company Profile

Sitzmark Sports originally Alpine Ski Shop, was established in 1960 by then ski school director Toni Woerndle and family. The Shop kept growing from 30 pairs of skis to the present day rental of 1200 pairs, and is now under the leadership of George Woerndle.

This Year's NEW LOOK:

In our rental ski department the emphasis is now on the much talked about "Hourglass" (parabolic) respective "Shaped Ski" , to offer new challenges. However, we also still carry the conventional skis for those that prefer "Straights" .

The demand for Snowboards is growing for all ages- so we have ever more boards on hand.

During the Summer months the shop offers Mountain Bike Sales and Rentals, Outdoor Gear, Hiking Boots, Gifts, Jewelry, and T-shirts. Also, reservation bookings for Raft trips, Horseback trips, and Chuck Wagon Dinners.

Last but not Least: Sitzmark offers delightful accommodations- the newest one being another deluxe condo with a great view of the ski slope.

Our former clothing department is now occupied and leased by "Crazy Mountain Sports" and offers a huge variety of functional ski and sports wear, including brandname skis and boots.

Sitzmark Sports sells and rents KHS mountain bikes during the summer.
