Because of increased fire risk, the National Forest has been close since the beginning of Red River's 2022 summer season. However, that hasn't stopped Weezies Wild Rides from offering side by side rentals, they simply adapted. Weezies has moved their operations to 8 miles north of Questa and is now offering the same great wild rides on BLM land adjacent to the Rio Grand Gorge. - Go Cart Track - Big Improvements
Go Cart City in downtown Red River, NM is getting a serious facelift. Owner, Nathan Lyles has been working hard this Spring putting in a new turn , re-paving part of the track, and adding new barriers. Nathan and his crew still have some work to do and they are planning on opening as soon as they can get everything done. Hopefully that will be soon, because Go-Carts are really fun.
- Biggest Car Show Ever For Red River
This years car show had over 90 entries which made it the biggest car show that Red River has ever hosted. From Hot Rods and Classics to Rat Rods and Customs, they were all here. The event also had a good assortment of food and live music. If you are into cars and a lazy Saturday afternoon, this even is highly recommended.
