Patrons and fans of The Bull O' The Woods Saloon were alarmed Saturday morning when they noticed on their Facebook Feeds, that The Bull had changed their name and updated their address to a location in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
The Bull has long been a favorite of our panhandle visitors, so as you can imagine, the thought of moving it from Red River to Vietnam caused severe anxiety and depression to more than a few of our visitors. That half day drive for a cold beer just turned into an expensive plane ticket and a trip half way around the world, not to mention the fact that most of our customers have no idea how to translate "Give Me A Cold Beer" into Vietnamese.
It was with great urgency that this unfortunate turn of events must be verified or debunked. A quick drive through the East end of town did prove that The Bull was still in it's original location and in fact, no relocation had taken place.
The misunderstanding most likely came from a malicious hack done buy a company in Ho Chi Minh City. This company apparently sells Nitrous Oxide filled balloons to dancing girls. (No I didn't make that up, see for yourself - https://bit.ly/3L20hib ) So if you are in the market for such a product you may want to check them out, but if you are just wanting an adult beverage in your favorite Rocky Mt Town, rest assured, The Bull will still be able to hook you up in the same spot it has been since 1939.
