I was born in Raton, NM but grew up in Missouri. My daughter mother and I came to visit my brother and brought us to Red River. I had never been before. Let me say that this was one of the best vacation spots I've ever been. The scenery is so amazingly beautiful and the clean crisp smell of pine trees in the air is so surreal! I never imagined how beautiful it really was until we came .
We only stayed the day but so much to do that we didn't get to stop in all of the places ! The ice cream and candy shop made the kids especially happy along with riding go karts. Such a quaint little place, we definitely want to come and stay a night next visit !!
